Receiving a Refund

Once all university charges have been paid, any remaining amount of financial aid will be disbursed to you as a “refund.” All students are highly encouraged to enroll in direct deposit via their Student Center, or by clicking here. Checks are not mailed. If you do not have direct deposit (EFT) set up with Student Financial Services, your refund check must be picked up at the Cashiers window, SBS 257.

Your Financial Aid refund can be used towards any education-related item listed in the cost of attendance such as such as books, transportation, housing, food, and miscellaneous expenses. This also means you are solely responsible for budgeting this refund throughout the semester.
