Applying for Aid

The Humboldt Financial Aid Office would like to ensure that all parents and families of our future and current Humboldt students understand the Financial Aid process at our institution and are well informed about the resources available in order to assist you in making financially responsible decisions for you and your student’s educational career.

The 2024 – 2025 FAFSA and CADAA are now open. The California priority filing date for most California programs is May 2nd, 2024.

Important Information about the 2024 – 2025 FAFSA:

• If you log onto the studentaid.gov website and the 24 – 25 FAFSA is not available to you at that time, please try again at a later time.
• Department of Education delayed sharing financial aid applications with schools until late March. As a result, schools will not be able to determine your financial aid eligibility until later in the spring. Please be sure to save your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) for reference.
